Blackhawk Network (BHN) is seeking a seasoned Manager, Demand Generation to lead a high-performing team responsible for generating qualified pipeline and measurable revenue impact across key lines of business.
As a first-line people manager in the Demand Generation job family, this role will lead a pod of demand generation specialists and provide the strategic direction, coaching, and operational rigor required to deliver integrated, multi-channel programs. The Manager will be accountable for campaign quality, team performance, funnel contribution, and continuous improvement across paid media, lifecycle and email marketing, events, webinars, content, partner programs, account-based marketing, and web-driven campaigns.
Reporting to the Director, Demand Generation, this is a senior player-coach role that balances people leadership with hands-on ownership of campaign strategy, planning, measurement, optimization, and executive-ready reporting. The successful candidate will be a confident and polished presenter who can clearly communicate in English, demonstrate command of the topics they present, and translate complex marketing performance into concise business recommendations.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of relevant B2B marketing experience, including experience working with Google and LinkedIn channels, planning and measuring integrated campaigns, and managing people. They will be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment; owning ambitious pipeline and sales-qualified opportunity targets; and translating go-to-market strategy into disciplined execution and measurable commercial outcomes.
Leadership and People Management
Lead, coach, and develop a team of demand generation specialists through clear objectives, regular one-on-one meetings, actionable feedback, performance reviews, and individualized development plans.
Establish a high-performance culture focused on qualified pipeline, sales-qualified opportunities, revenue contribution, operational excellence, and continuous learning.
Set priorities, allocate resources, and manage workloads across the team to ensure high-quality delivery against deadlines, service-level expectations, and stakeholder commitments.
Provide day-to-day direction while empowering team members to own their work, make informed decisions, and build expertise in demand generation strategy and execution.
Recruit, onboard, retain, and develop talent in partnership with HR and marketing leadership; support career progression, succession planning, and promotion recommendations.
Serve as a role model for clear communication, accountability, collaboration, and thoughtful decision-making in a changing business environment.
Demand Generation Strategy and Integrated Campaign Execution
Design and lead integrated B2B demand generation strategies across paid media, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, email and lifecycle marketing, events, webinars, content, partner programs, ABM, and web campaigns.
Translate business and go-to-market priorities into campaign strategies aligned to ICPs, personas, buying committees, segments, regions, and funnel stages.
Partner with Strategic Marketing, Product Marketing, Sales, SDR leadership, Marketing Operations, Analytics, Paid Media, Content, Events, and Web teams to align objectives, messaging, offers, audiences, budgets, and handoffs.
Oversee the development and execution of campaign briefs, integrated project plans, channel calendars, launch plans, and optimization roadmaps.
Ensure every campaign has a clear hypothesis, audience strategy, value proposition, conversion path, measurement framework, and documented owner for each major deliverable.
Maintain message and experience continuity across channels, from initial awareness through engagement, conversion, sales follow-up, and post-campaign nurture.
Bring a hands-on perspective to campaign planning and execution, stepping in to resolve strategic, operational, or cross-functional issues when needed.
Presentation, Stakeholder Communication, and Topic Ownership
Present campaign strategies, performance results, recommendations, risks, and next steps to marketing, sales, and executive stakeholders with clarity, confidence, and strong command of the subject matter.
Build and deliver polished presentations in English that communicate complex marketing concepts and performance insights in a concise, compelling, and business-oriented manner.
Demonstrate ownership of the topics presented, including the ability to explain strategic rationale, interpret performance data, answer detailed questions, and make informed recommendations.
Lead campaign kickoffs, performance reviews, business updates, and post-campaign readouts that create alignment and drive timely decisions.
Tailor communication to different audiences, from campaign practitioners and channel owners to senior marketing and sales leaders.
Communicate status, dependencies, risks, decisions, and escalations proactively and professionally.
Performance Measurement, Analytics, and Optimization
Own performance management across the team’s portfolio of campaigns, including pipeline, sales-qualified opportunities, conversion rates, cost efficiency, engagement, velocity, and ROI.
Establish measurement plans and reporting requirements for every campaign, including consistent definitions for MQLs, SALs, SQLs, SQOs, pipeline, revenue contribution, and key funnel conversion metrics.
Partner with Marketing Operations and Analytics to maintain a consistent weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting cadence.
Translate performance data into actionable insights and clear recommendations for channel mix, audience targeting, budget allocation, creative, messaging, offers, landing-page experiences, and nurture paths.
Lead a test-and-learn approach across Google, LinkedIn, email, events, content, and other channels; document hypotheses, results, learnings, and follow-up actions.
Identify performance gaps and create structured optimization plans that improve campaign effectiveness and commercial impact.
Ensure reporting is accurate, comparable, timely, and presented in an executive-ready format.
Process, Tools, and Cross-Functional Operations
Champion consistent use of core marketing systems, including marketing automation, CRM, Workfront or other project-management platforms, advertising platforms, dashboards, and analytics tools.
Partner with Marketing Operations and system administrators to improve workflows, templates, intake forms, campaign governance, routing rules, and reporting processes.
Drive disciplined campaign planning, QA, launch readiness, lead management, stakeholder communication, and post-mortem practices across the team.
Develop and reinforce repeatable playbooks for campaign intake, audience definition, briefing, channel activation, measurement, optimization, and retrospectives.
Maintain clear documentation of campaign decisions, assumptions, dependencies, performance results, and lessons learned.
Coordinate effectively across global and regional teams to adapt campaigns for market needs while preserving strategic consistency and measurement integrity.
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
5+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience, with substantial experience in demand generation, integrated campaign planning, pipeline creation, and performance marketing for complex products or services.
3+ years of direct people management experience, including coaching, performance management, workload planning, and talent development.
Proven experience designing, executing, measuring, and optimizing multi-channel B2B campaigns across paid media, email, events, webinars, content, partner programs, ABM, and web experiences.
Hands-on experience with, or strong operational ownership of, Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads in a B2B marketing environment, whether executed directly or through agency and channel partners.
Demonstrated ability to build campaign measurement plans, interpret funnel and revenue data, and connect marketing activity to pipeline, SQOs, and business outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to present confidently and professionally in English, with strong verbal communication, executive presence, and the ability to explain and defend recommendations.
Strong topic ownership, including the ability to lead discussions, answer detailed questions, and demonstrate command of campaign strategy, channel performance, and measurement methodology.
Experience working with a marketing automation platform such as Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot, or a similar system, and a CRM such as Salesforce.
Professional-level proficiency with Microsoft Office, including strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint for analysis, reporting, and executive-ready presentations.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, navigate ambiguity, meet demanding deadlines, and maintain a high standard of accuracy and quality.

Preferred
Experience leading demand generation programs for B2B technology, payments, fintech, SaaS, or related industries.
Experience managing integrated media programs across Google, LinkedIn, and additional paid media platforms, with an understanding of targeting, bidding, attribution, budget allocation, and optimization.
Familiarity with ABM platforms, intent data, audience intelligence, retargeting, lead scoring, and advanced segmentation technologies.
Advanced experience with Workfront or similar project-management tools, including templates, custom forms, dashboards, intake workflows, and governance.
Experience partnering with agencies or external media vendors while maintaining internal strategic ownership and performance accountability.
Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar technologies to improve planning, analysis, content development, and team productivity.
Experience working with global, cross-regional teams across markets such as North America, EMEA, and APAC.
Experience presenting campaign performance and strategic recommendations to senior leaders or executive audiences.
