Overview:

The Payroll Administrator is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payroll by consolidating and validating time and attendance information, integrating earnings and deductions, calculating statutory withholdings, and ensuring compliance with current labor and tax regulations.
This role also provides employee support on payroll-related matters, prepares regulatory reports, and manages payments through checks and electronic banking platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance and support to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries, ensuring clear and timely responses.
  • Maintain the employee database updated, verifying that personal and contractual information is accurately recorded in the payroll system.
  • Process biweekly payroll updates, incorporating incidents, savings contributions, deductions, bonuses, commissions, and other variable
    earnings.
  • Prepare and submit statutory payroll reports (ISSS, AFP, IPSFA, Attorney General’s Office, and Social Fund), ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Calculate monthly income tax withholdings and perform semi-annual tax recalculations in accordance with current legislation.
  • Issue salary certificates, employment verification letters, and income
    confirmation letters.
  • Prepare employee settlement calculations and provide technical guidance to the Human Resources Department on payroll matters.
    Manage check issuance requests for reimbursements, settlements, and salary payments.
  • Prepare and submit reports required by government institutions and regulatory entities.
  • Prepare and update reports related to employee credit payments to financial institutions.
  • Process wage garnishments in accordance with legal provisions.
  • Administer the employee reimbursement process.
  • Generate periodic payroll reports including salaries, earnings, deductions, and employer contributions.
  • Process payroll payments via direct deposit through electronic banking platforms.

Qualifications:

  • 85% English proficiency
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of proven experience in payroll administration.
  • Experience using Evolution or Visual Hur payroll systems (required).
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to prepare detailed financial and payroll reports.
  • Advanced English proficiency (oral and written).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
