Sr. Settlement Ops Analyst - ELS

The Data and Systems Analyst is responsible for helping with data analysis across our many different platforms and systems helping improve processes and reporting.  Using various types of tools this role will interact with many different groups as they investigate the data and processes for improvement.  Ability to think critically and work cross functionally to develop and execute creative solutions while keeping teams organized and management informed is critical.  

• Analyze material and complex data sets with high transactional volume across various product lines such as Retail, Telecom, Digital/eNetwork, and Financial Services 

• Work on manual or out of date processes and help implement a better one 

• Create reporting that is required or requested form the data analysis 

• Investigate and analyze of any one-off incidents that are associated with analysis 

• Own specific items i.e. reporting or processes on a go forward basis 

• Participate in the on boarding of new products and programs requiring the team’s involvement of data analysis or process improvement 

• Partner closely with settlement, accounting, finance, the business, and project teams to understand their needs and use data and system to help those needs 

• Work on issue found in our analysis and push for resolution 

• 2+ years progressive accounting experience, preferably in financial services or related industry 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience 

• Experience with a mid to large range enterprise accounting system, preferably DAX 

• Experience with working in large volumes of data sets 

• Advanced competency in Excel 

• Experience in Alteryx is a plus but not required 

• Experience with SQL and an ability to query data preferred, not required 

• Self-starter with great attention to detail and follow through and who is resourceful and adept at managing through chaos to reach a goal 

• Enjoys a fast-paced learning environment and has an ability to understand processes end to end 
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to work cohesively and diplomatically with team members at differing levels of skill and experience
