Overview:

The Vendor Operations Analyst is a part of the Supply Chain team and is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations with our fulfillment partner(s). In addition to the analysis of vendor performance, this role will be responsible for optimizing overall fulfillment process by driving improvements, as well as onboarding materials and performing product setups.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Integrate fulfillment services for merchants that deliver competitive advantages through streamlined operations.
  • Track Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and develop action plans to meet targets (Daily/Monthly/YTD Metrics for On-time SLA; Monthly/YTD Metrics for cost per unit & cost per order).
  • Monitor file flows, ensuring effective execution on orders (Escalations to IT for missing/stuck orders).
  • Manage inventory of our card products –
    • Review of Inventory; finished goods, shells and collateral
    • Collaborate with Inv. Mgmt for supply/demand
    • Follow up on Open PO's with PI or CPS as required per procurement processes
  • Participation with implementation of improvements in the fulfillment process both internally and externally, while maintaining a customer service focus and with minimal disruption to the business. Coordinate and communicate progress on all initiatives.
  • Manage invoicing process, billing and cost tracking.
  • Develops and maintains procedural documents relating to the fulfillment process.
  • Support fulfillment service provider with forecasting.
  • Review audits and troubleshoot issues.
  • Manage special handling process.
  • Plans and Schedules the acquisition of materials and products in the production process
  • Manage the fulfillment processes for all standard, custom and co-branded materials.
  • Support graphic changes from clients and internal team on card packet contents.
  • Manage material receipt at fulfillment centers
  • Creates and maintains Bill of Materials and other Production related data within the appropriate systems(external & internal)

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from a 4 year college or university in business accounting, finance, Supply Chain or Operations related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in operational role; Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement is desired.
  • 2-5 years of experience of KPI management in fulfillment operations is desired.
  • Graphics knowledge with experience in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign & file Maker Pro is preferred
  • Project/Implementation management experience preferred
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Strong working knowledge of PC-based business software, including Quickbase, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint. High level Excel knowledge preferred. Visio a plus.
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of Supply Chain Operations
  • Ability to review, understand or implement processes
  • Some travel required up to 5%
