Overview:

Blackhawk Network is actively seeking a Retail Space Planner for the Retail Space Planning Team. The space planner will work with Sales, Account Management, Business Intelligence & Retail Strategy teams building planograms for retail clients globally. The Retail Space Planner will work directly with these teams to ensure accurate product allocation on planograms for their assigned Distribution Partner accounts. The Space planner will work in a collaborative environment across various functional areas and may represent the Retail Space Planning team in meetings and assist with other projects as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, adjust and review planogram schematics that align to the business philosophy and strategy set forth by Blackhawk Network.
  • Build planograms for bi-annual reset, transition, revision updates and special projects.
  • Understand sales analysis that will identify opportunities optimizing product placement, leading to increased sales and profit.
  • Communicate adjust and understand planogram rules and dependencies.
  • Publish Planogram documentation ensuring accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with members of cross-functional teams to ensure consistency, share best practices and develop knowledge.
  • Support the In-Store merchandising teams to ensure all deliverables are complete, accurate and on time for scheduled in-store activities.
  • Ability to learn the interface and relationship between system platforms with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Take the initiative and can multi-task
  • Act with a sense of urgency to provide quick and effective resolutions
  • Availability to travel approximately 10% of the time

Qualifications:

  • 3 - 5 Years Blue Yonder (JDA) or equivalent Space Planning/automation software, Blue Yonder JDA preferred
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and work independently with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and client consultation skills
  • Microsoft 365  
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
