Overview:

We are looking for a Risk and AML Analyst to join our growing and dynamic Risk Management team. Is responsible for the analysis of data collected from the front agent´s interaction with our customers to identify risk situations or fraudulent behaviors or trends. This position functions including but not limited to addressing Risk related customer inquiries, law enforcement inquires, partner inquires. Analyzing transaction monitoring data for fraud trends and perform a deeper analysis to identify the root cause. Demonstrate the ability to be a quick learner and be a team player. You will interact with other Risk Management team members, leaders, key business partners. Be a self-starter and come up with innovative techniques to look at huge volumes of data and drive conclusions.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze Fraud related data to identify trends and suspicious transactions or behaviors.
  • Develop and execute transactions and system monitoring for unusual and/or suspicious merchant and other redemption activity processed through Blackhawk’s US and international proprietary systems.
  • Showcase the ability to do RCA and share it in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ensure that proper policies and procedures are followed regarding data security and disclosures.
  • Gain an understanding of key company policies and how they govern various operational processes.
  • Work with internal and external partners to monitor and manage fraud incidents on various pre-paid products.
  • Remain up to date in industry standards and process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of SQL experience
  • 1-2 years data analysis experience required
  • Fraud Risk and disputes data analysis experience is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite especially Excel
  • Fraud Risk data analysis experience is preferred.
  • Power BI and Microstrategy experience is a plus
  • Background at the banking industry is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytic, problem solving skills and multitask abilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects/tasks simultaneously and work independently.
  • Detail Oriented and good communication skills.
  • Great customer service ethics and professionalism
  • Knowledgeable in US fraud industry standards, laws, regulations, and best practices
