Overview:

We are seeking an experienced SDET II to join our mobile quality engineering team, focusing on ensuring the reliability and performance of our Android and iOS applications. This role combines hands-on testing expertise with automation development skills to deliver high-quality mobile experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement comprehensive test automation frameworks for both Android and iOS platforms, including UI automation, API testing, and performance validation.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams throughout the software development lifecycle to identify testing requirements and integrate quality processes.
  • Develop and maintain automated test suites using industry-standard tools and frameworks while ensuring cross-platform compatibility and device coverage.
  • Execute manual testing when needed for exploratory testing, usability validation, and edge case scenarios that require human judgment.
  • Participate in code reviews, contribute to testing best practices, and mentor junior team members.
  • Analyze test results, investigate failures, and work with developers to resolve issues efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 3-5 years of experience in software testing, particularly mobile applications.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Kotlin, Swift, or JavaScript.
  • Hands-on experience with mobile automation frameworks like Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, or similar tools.
  • Solid understanding of mobile development concepts, including platform-specific guidelines, device fragmentation, and mobile testing challenges.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), and test management tools.
  • Knowledge of performance testing, security testing principles, and accessibility standards for mobile applications
