Overview:

To provide timely, appropriate, and efficient care to beneficiaries through comprehensive care, applying principles, standards, and procedures in health promotion and education for the prevention, treatment, and recovery of patients' health.

Responsibilities:

  1. Review, order, and prepare materials and equipment in the office for medical care.
  2. Prepare patients for medical consultation, recording temperature, weight, height, and blood pressure data, interview the patient about the reason for consultation, and document examination results in the medical record.
  3. Complete the filling out of prescriptions, clinical laboratory and cabinet examination forms, medical referrals, or other documentation.
  4. Orient the patient regarding medication compliance, their side effects, care plan related to their health condition, and procedures for laboratory and cabinet examinations, referrals, and incapacity.
  5. Prepare notes in the "Observation and Nursing Care Sheet" of the medical record in accordance with current regulations and the guidelines established by the Nursing Profession Supervisory Board.
  6. Collect and label laboratory samples, prepare the referral document for the clinical laboratory of the assigned care center following established biosafety measures.
  7. Perform wound care, administer injections, and nebulizations as per medical indication.
  8. Complete information in the Daily Medical Consultation Census.
  9. Prepare the Weekly Epidemiological Report, Monthly Activity Report, in coordination with the company physician, to apply relevant preventive and corrective measures.
  10. Provide direct patient care with humane treatment in coordination with the physician in emergencies and during surgical and diagnostic procedures.
  11. Maintain records as per regulations for controlling: medical leaves, medical referrals, barbiturates, supplies and consumables, work accidents, catastrophic illnesses, cytology’s,  pregnant women registry, chronic metabolic diseases, among others.
  12. Carry out sterilization processes for equipment and manage materials to be used in medical consultations, wound care, injections, immunization, and minor surgery in compliance with regulations.
  13. Verify cleaning and disinfection processes of patient care areas at least twice daily and terminal cleaning every 8 days.
  14. Place orders for stationery, general items, medications, and surgical medical supplies monthly based on actual consumption to meet clinic needs and complete the form for Control Sheet and Registration of Authorized Medical-Surgical Supplies for corporate clinics.
  15. Participate in educational activities conducted in the corporate clinic or company.
  16. Collaborate with other assignments related to their professional practice as directed by their higher hierarchical level.
  17. Attend virtual or in-person periodic meetings scheduled by the assigned care center and the central team.
  18. Maintain the stock of CPR and emergency medications established by regulation.

Qualifications:

  1. Basic English.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  3. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a corporate clinic.
  4. Knowledge of ISSS administrative procedures and regulations.
  5. Proficiency in office software.
  6. Excellent customer service.
  7. Proactive attitude and willingness to collaborate on various tasks as required.
