Overview:

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Senior Human Resources Generalist will provide HR support for BHN’s ELS office. The Senior Human Resources Generalist will work closely with people leaders by advising on employee relations, performance management, and employee engagement. This role will also help support BHN’s annual talent programs including goal setting and performance review cycles. The Senior Human Resources Generalist will be self-driven, well-organized, and results oriented. A proven track record of working in a customer-centric culture by interacting with all levels of employees including senior level stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong working relationships with people leaders and employees at BHN’s ELS office.
  • Strong and demonstrated experience with ELS labor and employment laws
  • Manage the day-to-day Benefits working closely with the various vendors to offer competitive packages and discounts.
  • Develop existing employee engagement initiatives or create new ones to improve the employee experience.
  • Ability to handle complex employee relations issues aligning to company beliefs, policies, and processes.
  • Take on various assignments and special projects as needed and in support of the broader HR organization’s corporate initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of ELS labor laws and employment practices, including FMLA and COBRA.
  • 5+ years’ experience in handling employee relations issues ranging from simple to complex and organizational culture.
  • Strong knowledge about building policies and providing periodic maintenance to existing policies.
  • Strong English communication skills – written and verbal
  • Good organizational skills with an ability to manage own workload and priorities to meet deadlines and respond to changing priorities.
  • Proven track record of delivering high quality work with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and HRIS systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a team and with a flexible approach to adapting to changing work requirements.
  • Self-motivated, dynamic, energetic and proactive.
